Case Study

Profile:

This cybersecurity company valued out over $1 billion dollars is a software firm that develops antivirus programs and other kinds of computer software that prevent, rather than reactively detect, viruses and malware.

Problem

This cybersecurity company wanted to implement a fully scalable infrastructure in a cloud agnostic enviornment to ensure their infrastructure maintained its integreity in the event their cloud provider changed in the event of a possible aquisition. Because of the their requirements for a cloud agnostic requirement, they needed tooling, infrastructure, and resources to be as malleable as possible, but were unsure of the tools and methodologies that were available and how to leverage them to meet their goals.

Solution

Together Argus and the cybersecurity company worked together on a phased planned to ensure that the companies requirements were met. We started with an open discussion regarding technology, tooling, and direction to learn about how the company worked and what needed to change.

Once we had that information we helped create a strategy for the company to close knowledge gaps, reduce and breakdown existing information silos, and rally their team behind the new tech we would be implementing.

The next step was to begin consulting the company on implementing best practices, establish frameworks, and make sure the company met all of their goals. After the company implemented our changes under our supervision we continued to provide consulting on technology updates, management, and monitoring of their successfully deployed new infrastructure.

Results

Through collaboration with Argus, the cybersecurity company continued to adapt and expand our solutions and was able to launch infrastructure and applications into various cloud providers with ease. Over time the copmany was able to use the developed frameworks and automation to deploy new applications into their cloud environments with ease, as well as integrate into their new parent company after they were successfully aquired.
